ABOUT MEAs an independent and motivated self-starter, I thrive in highly structured environments where I can utilize my strong attention to detail. Passionate, determined and conscientious, I am not afraid to think outside the box and follow my instincts in order to conceive new ideas and opportunities. My background is equally expansive in the intellectual world as well as the creative realm. I am most interested in conceptualizing a project and seeing it come to fruition, taking consideration and re-evaluating every step. Most importantly, I enjoy investigating why people respond to the ways information is organized and presented. Evaluating user behavior and analyzing details within a project to allow for optimal and continued success.
As a recent graduate of Pratt’s School of Information with a MLIS, I am prepared to combine my comprehensive education and experience to apply them in a practical user-centered environment. I structured my curriculum to focus on art, archives and user experience with an emphasis on cataloging, arranging and presenting information through digital platforms. I have worked on multiple user experience projects for various cultural institutions focusing on objective discovery research. With my background in merchandising, marketing and management, I have a keen eye for how people respond to the way assets are structured and am able to communicate within a team to respond quickly and effectively. As a result, I have developed the critical user-centered research and interpersonal skills necessary to organize, design and provide access to information with the end user in mind all while staying true to the company’s value proposition. |
